The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has invited application from eligible candidates for the recruitment of the following 66 posts. Details of the recruitment are as follows:

Age Limit:
1. For the Post No. 1 to 2 & 12 : 30 years
2. For the Post No. 4, 10, 13 & 40: 50 years
3. For the Post No. 5 to 9 & 11: 40 years

Educational Qualification & Pay Scale:

1. For Assistant Directors (Banking):
Essential: Chartered Accountant or Cost and Management Accountant or Company Secretary or Chartered Financial Analyst or Post Graduate Diploma in Management (Finance) or Masters in Business Administration (Finance) or Masters of Business Economics or Master’s in Commerce.
EXPERIENCE: One year’s experience in finance or banking affairs
from Government listed private organization.

Pay Scale: Rs. 9,300-34,800 (PB-2) + Rs. 4,800 (Grade Pay) (T.E. Rs. 31,725/- Approx.) + TA and HRA as admissible.

2. For Assistant Directors (Corporate Law):
(i) Degree in any discipline and Bachelor’s Degree in Law
OR
(ii) Integrated Bachelor’s Degree in Law (five years)
OR
(iii) Bachelor’s Degree in any subject and Company Secretary from Institute of Company Secretaries

EXPERIENCE:
(i) One year experience in the field of Corporate Law for Integrated Bachelor’s Degree in Law (five years) (vide EQ-ii above)
OR
(ii) One year experience in the field of Corporate Law for Bachelor’s Degree in any subject and Company Secretaries of India (vide EQ-iii above).

Pay Scale: Rs. 9,300-34,800 (PB-2) + Rs. 4,800 (Grade Pay) (T.E. Rs. 31,725/- Approx.) + TA and HRA as admissible.

3. For Assistant Directors (Forensic Audit):
Chartered Accountant or Cost and Management Accountant or Company Secretary or Chartered Financial Analyst or Post Graduate Diploma in Management (Finance) or Masters in Business Administration (Finance) or Masters of Business Economics or Master’s in Commerce or Bachelor’s in Law.
EXPERIENCE: One year’s experience in audit or forensic audit from any Government or listed private organization.

admissible.

4. For Legal Officers (Grade-I):
i) Master’s degree in Law with specialization in the field of International Law and/or International Relations or International Organizations from a recognized University.
(ii) Candidates having specialization in International Law in M. Phil. or Ph. D. level but not at Master’s level will also be eligible.
EXPERIENCE: Ten years’ experience, after obtaining minimum educational
qualification in Legal Affairs, namely, Legal Practitioner; in Legal service of the Government; teaching or conducting or guiding research in International Law or in the Law of International Organizations.

Pay Scale: Rs. 15,600-39,100 (PB-3) + Rs. 7,600 (Grade Pay) (T.E. Rs. 52,200/- Approx.) + TA and HRA as admissible.

5. For Eight Specialists Grade III (Anaesthesia):
(i) A recognized MBBS degree qualification included in the First Schedule or Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule (other than licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 ( 102 of 1956). Holders of educational qualifications included in Part II of the Third Schedule should also fulfill the conditions specified in sub-section(3) of
section 13 of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956(102 of 1956).
(ii) Post- Graduate degree or Diploma in the concerned specialty or Super-speciality mentioned in Section A or Section B in Schedule VI i.e. Doctor of Medicine (Anaesthesiology); or Master of Surgery (Anaesthesiology); or Diploma in Anaesthesiology
EXPERIENCE: Three years’ experience in the concerned Specialty or Super-speciality after obtaining the first Post Graduate Degree or five years’ experience after the Post Graduate Diploma.

Pay Scale: Rs. 15,600-39,100 (PB-3) + Rs. 6,600 (Grade Pay) (T.E. Rs. 49,950/- Approx.) + NPA + TA and HRA as admissible.

6. For Specialist Grade III Assistant Professors (Bio-Chemistry):
(i) A recognized MBBS degree qualification included in the First
Schedule or Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule (other than licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 ( 102 of 1956). Holders of educational qualifications included in Part II of the Third Schedule should also fulfill the conditions specified in sub-section(3) of section 13 of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956(102 of 1956).
(ii) Post- Graduate degree in the concerned speciality or Superspeciality
mentioned in Section A of Schedule VI i.e. Doctor of Medicine (BioChemistry) ; or Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery with Master of Science
(Medical Bio- Chemistry); or Master of Science (Medical Bio- Chemistry) with Doctor of Philosophy (Medical Bio- Chemistry); or Master of Science (Medical Bio- Chemistry) with Doctor of Science (Medical Bio- Chemistry).
EXPERIENCE: At least three years’ teaching experience as Senior Resident or Tutor or Demonstrator or Registrar in the concerned Specialty or Super-speciality in a recognized teaching institution after obtaining the first Post graduate degree.

Pay Scale: Rs. 15,600-39,100 (PB-3) + Rs. 6,600 (Grade Pay) (T.E. Rs. 49,950/- Approx.) + NPA + TA and HRA as admissible.

7. For Specialist Grade III Assistant Professors (Orthopaedics):
(i) A recognized MBBS degree qualification included in the First Schedule or Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule (other than licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 ( 102 of 1956). Holders of educational qualifications included in Part II of the
Third Schedule should also fulfill the conditions specified in sub-section(3) of section 13 of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956(102 of 1956).
(ii) Post- Graduate degree in the concerned speciality or Super-speciality mentioned in Section A of Schedule VI i.e. Master of Surgery (Orthopaedics)
EXPERIENCE: At least three years’ teaching experience as Senior Resident or Tutor or Demonstrator or Registrar in the concerned Specialty or Super-speciality in a recognized teaching institution after obtaining the first Post graduate degree.

Pay Scale: Rs. 15,600-39,100 (PB-3) + Rs. 6,600 (Grade Pay) (T.E. Rs. 49,950/- Approx.) + NPA + TA and HRA as admissible.

8. For Specialist Grade III Assistant Professors (Physiology):
(i) A recognized MBBS degree qualification included in the First Schedule or Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule (other than licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 ( 102 of 1956). Holders of educational qualifications included in Part II of the Third Schedule should also fulfill the conditions specified in sub-section(3) of section 13 of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956(102 of 1956). (ii) Post- Graduate degree in the concerned speciality or Super-speciality mentioned in Section A of Schedule VI i.e. Doctor of Medicine (Physiology); or MBBS with M.Sc. (Physiology); or Master of Science (Medical Physiology) with Doctor of Philosophy (Medical Physiology); or Master of Science (Medical Physiology) with Doctor of Science (Medical Physiology).
EXPERIENCE: At least three years’ teaching experience as Senior Resident or Tutor or Demonstrator or Registrar in the concerned Specialty or Super-speciality in a recognized teaching institution after obtaining the first Post graduate degree.

9. For Specialist Grade III Assistant Professors (Surgery):
(i) A recognized MBBS degree qualification included in the First
Schedule or Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule (other than licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 ( 102 of 1956). Holders of educational qualifications included in Part II of the Third Schedule should also fulfill the conditions specified in sub-section(3) of section 13 of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956(102 of 1956).
(ii) Post- Graduate degree in the concerned speciality or Super-
speciality mentioned in Section A of Schedule VI i.e. Master of Surgery (Surgery),
Master of Surgery (General Surgery).
EXPERIENCE: At least three years’ teaching experience as Senior Resident or Tutor or Demonstrator or Registrar in the concerned Speciality or Super-speciality in a recognized teaching institution after obtaining the first Post graduate degree.

Pay Scale: Rs. 15,600-39,100 (PB-3) + Rs. 6,600 (Grade Pay) (T.E. Rs. 49,950/- Approx.) + NPA + TA and HRA as admissible.

10. For Deputy Registrar General (Map):
Master’s Degree in Geography from a recognized University.
EXPERIENCE: Twelve years’ experience in drawing, computer printing and production of maps including five years’ experience in applied cartography from Central Government/State Governments/Union Territories.

Pay Scale: Rs. 37,400-67,000 (PB-4) + Rs. 8,700 (Grade Pay) (T.E. Rs.
1,03,725/- Approx.) + TA and HRA as admissible.

11. For Assistant Legislative Counsel:
(i) Master’s Degree in Law (LLM) from a University established or incorporated by or under a Central Act; Provincial Act or a State Act or any institution for higher education deemed to be a University by the Central Government or any other institution or foreign University approved by the Central Government;
(ii) should have been a member of State Judicial Service for a period of five years; Or Should have held a post in the Legal Department of a State Government for five years; Or Should have been a Central Government servant who has had experience in legal affairs for five years; Or Should have been a qualified legal practitioner* who has practised as such for five years; Or Should have been a teacher of law for five years in a recognised institution; Or should have five years’ experience of translation into Hindi of statutes, statutory rules and orders in the Central Government or State Government; Or Should have five years’ experience of drafting of statutes in the Central Government or State Government OR (B) (i)  Bachelor’s Degree in Law (LLB) from a University established or incorporated by or under a Central Act; a Provincial Act or a State Act or any institution for higher education deemed to be a University by the Central Government or any other institution or foreign University approved by the Central Government;
(ii) Should have been a member of State Judicial Service for a period of seven years; Or Should have held a post in the legal department of a State Government for seven years; Or Should have been a Central Government servant who has had experience in legal affairs for seven years; Or Should have been a qualified legal practitioner* who has practiced as such for seven years; Or Should have been a teacher of law for seven years in a recognised institution; Or Should have seven years’ experience of translation into Hindi of statutes, statutory rules and orders in the Central Government or State Government; Or Should have seven years’ experience of drafting of statutes in the Central Government or State Government.
(iii) Passed Secondary School Examination or any higher examination
from a recognised Board or University or institution through Hindi medium or had offered Hindi as a subject in Secondary School Examination or any higher examination from a recognized Board or university or any institution or foreign university approved by the Central Government.

Pay Scale: Rs. 15,600-39,100 (PB-3) + Rs. 6,600 (Grade Pay) (T.E. Rs. 49,950/- Approx.) + TA and HRA as admissible.

12. For Superintendent (Legal):
Bachelor’s Degree in Law (LLB) from a recognized university established or incorporated by or under a Central Act; a Provincial Act or a State Act or any institution for higher education deemed to be a university by the Central Government or any other institution or foreign University approved by the Central Government.
EXPERIENCE: Should have two years’ experience as an Officer of the State Judicial Service Or Should have two years’ experience in the Legal Department of a State Or Should be a Central Government Servant who has two years’ experience in legal affairs Or Should have two years experience as an advocate at Bar.

Pay Scale: Rs. 9,300-34,800 (PB-2) + Rs. 4,800 (Grade Pay) (T.E. Rs. 31,725/- Approx.) + TA and HRA as admissible.

13. For Editor (Bharatiya Rail):
Master’s degree in Hindi from a recognised University or equivalent. EXPERIENCE: Ten years’ experience in Journalism or as Editor in Hindi in any publication department of the Central Government or any News-paper or news agency or publicity organisation under the Central Government.

Pay Scale: Rs. 15,600-39,100 (PB-3) + Rs. 7,600 (Grade Pay) (T.E. Rs. 52,200/- Approx.) + TA and HRA as admissible.
