RRCAT Indore Atomic Energy Dept Recruitment Jan 2019 for Technical Officer Post

Raja Ramanna Centre for Advanced Technology, Indore (RRCAT) has invited application from eligible candidates for the recruitment for Technical Officer Post. Details of the recruitment are give below:

Age Limit: (as on last date of receipt of application.)
1. For Technical Officer /D: Not exceeding 40 years
2. For Technical Officer /C: Not exceeding 38 years (including 03 years age relaxation for OBC candidates)

1. Technical Officer /D: 3 posts
a. Mechanical (AC): 1 post (UR)
b. Mechanical (Chiller): 1 post (UR)
c. Electrochemistry: 1 post (UR)

2. Technical Officer /C: 1 post
d. Architect: 1 post (OBC)

Educational qualification and experience:
a. For Mechanical (AC):
B.E. / B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering for Mechanical (AC) with minimum 60% marks and minimum 4 years of relevant experience after obtaining the requisite qualification. OR M.E. / M. Tech. in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Engineering (after B.E. or M.Sc.) with minimum 60% marks.

b. Mechanical (Chiller):
B.E. / B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering for Mechanical (Chiller) with minimum 60% marks and minimum 4 years of relevant experience after obtaining the requisite qualification. OR M.E. / M. Tech. in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Engineering / Thermal Engineering (after B.E. or M.Sc.) with minimum 60% marks.

c. Electrochemistry:
M.Sc. in Chemistry/ Electrochemistry with minimum 60% marks and minimum 4 years of relevant experience* after obtaining the requisite qualification. (OR) B.E./ B.Tech. in Chemical or Chemical and Electrochemical Engineering with minimum 60% marks and minimum 4 years of relevant experience* after obtaining the requisite qualification.
d. For Architect:
B. Arch. With minimum 60% marks with valid registration with Council of Architecture (COA)

Pay :
1. For Technical Officer /D: 67,700/- (Cell No.1 in the Level 11 of Pay Matrix)
2. For Technical Officer /C: 56,100/- (Cell No.1 in the Level 10 of Pay Matrix)

Selection Procedure:
In case of receipt of large number of applications a screening test will be conducted. The test will be of two hours duration comprising 75 objective type questions in the respective subject. Each question shall carry ‘3’ marks for correct answer and ‘1’ negative mark for incorrect answer. Marks scored in the written test will be criteria for shortlisting candidates for personal interview. Final selection will be based on the performance in the personal interview.
