Rajiv Gandhi University, Arunachal Pradesh in Collaboration with IGRMS, Bhopal is organising an International Seminar on “Ethnicity, Livelihoods And Culture Change Among The Himalayan People: Anthropology And Beyond” on 23-24 September, 2019

3. Emerging Ethnographic Realities
4. Art, Oral and Performing Traditions
5. Demography and Health Issues
6. Borderland Issues

Objectives of the Seminar:
To build up a comprehensive understanding of the Himalayan people (both Eastern and western Himalayan regions of India and beyond), their culture, livelihood
issues, problems and possible policy implications for resolving various constrains for a better future. And to examine and explain the relationship of Himalayan
Indians and neighbouring Himalayan people, their culture, polity and economy so as to promote mutual trust and understanding, friendly ties and cooperation
through the border trades and commerce, cultural exchange, and constructive dialogues.
