National Health System Resource Centre (NHSRC), Technical Support Institute with National Health Mission, has invited applications from the eligible candidates for the recruitment of the following posts. Details of the recruitment are given below:

Name of the Posts:
1. Consultant – National Urban Health Mission, Public Health Administration – NHSRC
2. Consultant – Health Policy and Integrated Planning, NHSRC
3. Senior Consultant – Community Processes, RRC-NE
4. Consultant – Public Health Planning and Evidence, RRC-NE
5. Lead Consultant- Immunization
6. Senior Consultant- Immunization
7. Senior Consultant- RCH-PIP

Age Limit: (As on last date of application)
1. For Consultant– National Urban Health Mission: 40 years & below
2. For Consultant– Health Policy and Integrated Planning: 40 years & below
3. For Senior Consultant– Community Processes, RRC-NE: Not above 50 years
4. For Consultant – Public Health Planning and Evidence: Not above 40 years
5. For Lead Consultant- Immunization: Up to 55 years
6. For Senior Consultant- Immunization: Up to 40 years
7. For Senior Consultant- RCH-PIP: Upper limit 55 years

Qualification and Experience:
1. For Consultant – National Urban Health Mission, Public Health Administration:
a) Post-graduation or higher qualification in public health, community health, preventive & social medicine from a reputed Public health institute
b) At least 3 years of post-qualification work experience in NUHM or Health Systems strengthening, program planning or implementation
c) Demonstrated experience in operationalizing health programmes at field level; working in strengthening of district level health systems
d) Should have a comprehensive understanding of the various aspects of the urban health program
e) Should have understanding on various Ministries & programs running in urban areas
f) Good understanding on functions of Municipal Corporation & ULBs

2. For Consultant – Health Policy and Integrated Planning:
a) MBBS with Post Graduation or higher qualification in Public health, Community health, Preventive & Social Medicine with a year of post qualification experience.
Or
Other non-MBBS candidates with a post-graduate qualification in public health, hospital management, Statistics, Nursing or related field and with two years of relevant work experience are also eligible to apply.
b) Work experience/ Competence in the area of planning particularly at State/ district/ block level for health or health systems strengthening would be an advantage.
c) Computer proficiency with high level of familiarity with commonly used packages like MS Word, Excel, Power Point & Web surfing to search relevant data & documents.
d) Above average writing skills
e) Ability to work in a team setting
f) Willingness to travel to states & districts to provide technical assistance & ability to work on different assignments simultaneously to meet the timelines for assignments.

3. For Senior Consultant – Community Processes:
a) Possess an MSW / MA in Sociology / Post graduation in Social Science with interest in Community Processes.
b) Have at least 5 (Five) years experience after post qualification (MSW / MA in Sociology/ Post graduation in Social Science). Experience in implementation of a health programme at the NGO / Community / PRIs level, and familiarity with the direct implementation of RCH programmes through field based NGOs, Mother NGOs or in other development sector is preferable.
c) Experience in training and implementing large scale Community Health Worker programmes will be an added advantage
d) Excellent communication and presentation skills, analytical and interpersonal abilities, excellent oral and written communication skills in English. Working knowledge of Hindi also desirable.
e) Computer proficiency with high level of familiarity with commonly used packages like MS Word, Excel, Power Point; any one computerized accounting package is highly desirable.
f) Demonstrated ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team.
g) Experience of working with senior government officials at central and or state level.

4. For Consultant – Public Health Planning and Evidence:
a) A Medical graduate (MBBS) with Post Graduate Degree/Diploma in Public Health Management/ Preventive & Social Medicine/Community Medicine or Masters in Public health or Community health or B.A.M.S. (Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery) or BHMS (Bachelor of Homeopathic Medicine and Surgery) or BDS (Bachelor of Dental Surgery) with Post Graduate Degree/ Diploma in Public Health Management/ Preventive & Social Medicine/ Community Medicine /
Masters in Public health or Community health
b) At least 3 years post qualification (Post Graduate Degree/ Diploma in Public Health Management/ Preventive & Social Medicine/ Community Medicine/ Masters in Public health/ Community health) experience in Health Systems Research or in Planning and implementation of service delivery.
c) Published work in the area of health systems or public health is preferable.
d) Demonstrated experience in planning and strategy development with policy and / or demonstrated experience in operationlising health programme at field level / working in strengthening district level health systems.
e) Computer proficiency with high level of familiarity with commonly used packages like MS Word, Excel, Power Point; any one computerized accounting package is highly desirable.
f) Good oral presentation and writing skills.
g) Demonstrated managerial skills and be able to lead a team

5. For Lead Consultant- Immunization:
a) MBBS Graduate with Post-Graduate in Public Health or Health Administration or Community Health or Community Health Administration or Preventive & Social Medicine.
b) Minimum 5+ years of experience out of which 3 years relevant experience in RCH/ Immunization related programmes. Preference will be given to candidates who have worked in RCH/ Immunization programme at National level.
c) Candidate having experience in public health system, and relevant government policies/ strategies, particularly in the field of National Health Mission and Immunization.
d) Computer proficiency with commonly used packages like MS Word, Excel, Power Point & Web surfing .
e) Excellent communication and presentation skills, analytical and interpersonal abilities, excellent oral and written communication skills in English. Working knowledge of Hindi is also desirable.
f) Demonstrated ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team environment.
g) Demonstrated experience in operationalizing health programme at field level/ working in strengthening of district level health systems.

6. For Senior Consultant- Immunization:
a) MBBS Graduate with Post-Graduate in Public Health or Community Health or Community Health Administration or Preventive & Social Medicine.
b) Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in RCH/Immunization related programmes. Preference will be given to candidates who have worked in RCH/Immunization programme at National level.
c) Candidate having experience in public health system, and relevant government policies/ strategies, particularly in the field of National Health Mission and Immunization.
d) Computer proficiency with commonly used packages like MS Word, Excel, Power Point & Web surfing
e) Excellent communication and presentation skills, analytical and interpersonal abilities, excellent oral and written communication skills in English. Working knowledge of Hindi is also desirable.
f) Demonstrated ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team environment.
g) Demonstrated experience in operationalizing health programme at field level/ working in strengthening of district level health systems.

7. For Senior Consultant- RCH-PIP:
a) Post Graduate degree in Social Work/ Health Management/ MBA from a reputed and recognized institution;
b) Minimum 5+ years of work experience, out of which 3-4 years must be in RCH programme at national or state level.
Preference will be given to candidates with the experience of analyzing state Programme Implementation Plans.
c) Demonstrated ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team environment.
d) Excellent coordination skill and ability to work under pressure and in time bound manner.
e) Computer proficiency with high level of familiarity with commonly used packages like MS Word, Excel, Power Point & Web surfing to search relevant data & documents.
f) Excellent communication and presentation skills, analytical and interpersonal abilities, excellent oral and written communication skills in English. Working knowledge of Hindi also desirable.
g) Willingness to travel to states & districts to provide technical assistance & ability to work on different assignments simultaneously to meet the timelines for assignments.

Remuneration:
1. For Consultant– National Urban Health Mission: Rs. 44,000/- to Rs. 99,000/- PM
2. For Consultant– Health Policy and Integrated Planning: Rs. 44,000/- to Rs. 99,000/- PM
3. For Sr Consultant– Community Processes, RRC-NE: Rs.99,000/- to Rs. 1,43,000/-
4. For Consultant – Public Health Planning and Evidence: Rs.44,000/- to Rs. 99,000/-
5. For Lead Consultant- Immunization: Rs. 1,30,000/- to 1,70,000/- per month
6. For Senior Consultant- Immunization: Rs. 90,000/- to 1,50,000/- per month
7. For Senior Consultant- RCH-PIP: Rs. 90,000/- to Rs. 1,50,000/- per month.
