NCHM Joint Entrance Examination 2019 Notification for B.Sc. Course
National Council for Hotel Management Joint Entrance Examination (NCHM JEE) notification has released for entrance examination of B.Sc. Course for NCHM JEE-2019. Details of the eligibility, mode of examination are given below:

B.Sc. Course in Hospitality and Hotel Administration (B.Sc.HHA)
NCHM JEE-2019 Eligibility:
A pass in 10+2 system of Senior Secondary examination or its equivalent with English as one of the subjects. Candidate must have passed English as a subject of study (core/ elective/ functional) in the qualifying examination. Those appearing in 10+2 or equivalent examination can also appear in NCHM JEE-2019 on provisional basis. Provisional admission will stand cancelled if proof of having passed the qualifying examination (10+2 or its equivalent) is not submitted at the time of counselling or at the time of admission or latest by 30.09.2019.The offer of admission is subject to verification of
original certificates/ documents at the time of admission. If any candidate is found ineligible at a later date even after admission to an Institute, his/her admission will stand cancelled.
QUALIFYING EXAMINATIONS FOR INDIAN NATIONAL:
Plus two level examination in the 10+2 pattern of Senior Secondary education of any recognized Central/ State Board, such as Central Board of Secondary Education and Council for Indian School Certificate Examination or State Boards of Secondary Education. Intermediate or two-year PreUniversity Examination conducted by a recognized Board/ University. General Certificate Education (GCE) Examination (London/ Cambridge/ Sri Lanka) at the Advanced (A) level. High School Certificate Examination of the Cambridge University. Any Public School/Board/University Examination in India or in a foreign country recognized by the Association of Indian Universities as equivalent to 10+2 pattern of Senior Secondary education. H.S.C. Vocational Examination approved by NCVT and SCVT of concerned State. Senior Secondary School Examination conducted by the National Open School with a minimum of five subjects including English as one of the subjects, result of which should be available upto 30.09.2019
Age limit: (as on 01.07.2019)
Upper age limit is 25 years For General and OBC categories, Candidates born on or after July 01, 1994 are eligible
Upper age limit is 28 years For SC/ST categories, candidates born on or after July 01, 1991 are eligible.
All qualified candidates will have to submit a physical fitness certificate of carrying out practical classes as required in the Course at the time of admission from a Registered Medical Practitioner
1. Numerical Ability and Analytical Aptitude: 30 Questions
2. Reasoning and Logical Deduction: 30 Questions
3. General Knowledge & Current Affairs: 30 Questions
4. English Language: 60 Questions
5. Aptitude for Service Sector: 50 Questions
GRAND TOTAL: 200 Questions
All India merit list of candidates shall be prepared on the basis of marks secured in the NCHM-JEE Computer Based Test (CBT). In case candidates secure equal marks, the merit will be determined as under;
i) Candidate securing higher marks in English component of JEE shall rank higher, Candidates are NOT allowed to carry Instrument/ Geometry/ Pencil box, Handbag, Purse, Any kind of Paper/ Stationery/ Textual material (printed or written material), Eatables and Water (loose or packed), Mobile Phone/ Ear Phone/ Microphone/ Pager, Calculator, Camera, Tape Recorder, any metallic item or electronic gadgets etc. in the examination Room/ Hall.
ii) In case of candidates securing equal marks in NCHM-JEE, as well as in English component of NCHM-JEE, then the candidate securing higher marks in Service Aptitude Component of NCHM-JEE shall rank higher,
iii) In case of tie in (i) and (ii) above, the candidate older in age shall rank higher.

Rs.400/- for SC/ ST/ PwD and Transgender

How to Apply:
Candidates have to apply for NCHM JEE-2019 “Online” ONLY by accessing the website or the link given below. Follow following 4 (Four) Steps to Apply Online:
Step-1: Register for Online Application Form and note down system generated Application Number. The candidate should supply all the details while filling the Online Application Form and is also required to create PASSWORD and choose Security Question and enter his/her Answer.
Step-2: Complete the Application Form Candidate can login with the system generated Application Number and created Password for completing the Application Form.
Step-3: Upload Scanned Images of Candidate Photograph and Candidate Signature.
Step-4: Payment by Debit/ Credit Card/ Net Banking/ e-Challan
On-line Submission of Application Form: 15.01.2019 to 15.03.2019
Dates for the successful final transaction of fee: 15.01.2019 to 16.03.2019 (11.50 p.m.)
Date of the Examination: 27th April, 2019 (Saturday)
Timing of the Examination: 09.30 a.m. to 12.30 p.m.
Printing of Admit Cards from NTA’s website: 3rd April, 2019
Declaration of Result on NTA’s website: 15th May, 2019
