Manipur Community Forestry & Water Conservation Society Recruitment Jan 2019 for 18 Various Posts

Community Forestry & Water Conservation Society-Manipur (CF & WCS-M) has invited application from eligible candidates for the following posts within 16th February 2019 (to be borne by the project loan), on contractual basis for a period of one year initially; including 6 months’ probation period extendable year to year during the project period based on satisfactory performance for Externally Aided KfW funded Indo-German Financial Cooperation Project. Details are as follows:

Title of Project: “Community Based Sustainable Forest Management for Water Resources Conservation in Manipur”

Age Limit: up to 45 years

Qualification & Experience
1. For Capacity Building & Training Officer:
Master or Bachelor Degree in Forestry, Agriculture, Life Science or related subject with a high second Class (55%)
Experience:
• Minimum 5 years experience for Master Degree holder and 10 years for Bachelor Degree
holder with Community Based Watershed Management or NRM Project experience.
• Experience in capacity building and training delivery especially community-based projects.
• Computer skills especially Microsoft Words and Excel
Desirable
• Knowledge of local language is highly desirable;
• Self-initiative, commitments and proactiveness;
• Able to work in multicultural team;
• Empathy for tribal communities;
• Willingness to travel extensively in rural areas and stay in villages and
• Ability to interact easily with rural communities.

2. For Enterprise Development & Marketing Officer:
Master or Bachelor Degree in business management/agribusiness management, economics, development science, or related subject with a high second class (55%)
Experience
• Minimum 5 years experience with Masters Degree and 10 years experience for Bachelor Degree holder with business development, marketing and/or livelihood/community development project experience in private or public sector organization.
• Computer skills especially Microsoft Words and Excel.
Desirable
• Knowledge of local language is highly desirable;
• Self-initiative, commitments and pro-activeness;
• Able to work in multicultural team;
• Empathy for tribal communities;
• Willingness to travel extensively in rural areas and stay in villages and
• Ability to interact easily with rural communities.

3. For Subject Matter Specialist on Community Development & Livelihood:
Master or Bachelor Degree in forestry, agriculture, environmental science/NRM securing at least a high second class (55%)
Experience
• Minimum 5 years experience with Masters Degree and 10 years experience for Bachelor Degree having community development and/or rural livelihood development especially covering NRM sector with extensive experience participatory community planning and community development.
6 Experience with community based forestry/agriculture extension and/or natural resources management;
• Computer skills.
Desirable
• Knowledge of local language is highly desirable;
• Self-initiative, commitments and pro-activeness;
• Able to work in multicultural team;
• Empathy for tribal communities;
• Willingness to travel extensively in rural areas and stay in villages and
• Ability to interact easily with rural communities.

4. For Monitoring, Evaluation & Documentation Officer:
Master or Bachelor Degree in forestry, development science, economics, Life Science or related subject with a high second class (55%).
Experience
• Minimum 5 years experience with Masters Degree and 10 years experience for Bachelor Degree holder with development M&E, socio-economic studies including direct experience with Project Management Experience in PRA application for participatory resource planning, direct participation in the implementation of such plans by the community, and monitoring its progress using participatory methodologies.
• Computer skills especially Microsoft Words and Excel
Desirable
• Knowledge of local language is highly desirable;
• Self-initiative, commitments and proactiveness;
• Able to work in multicultural team;
• Empathy for tribal communities;
• Willingness to travel extensively in rural areas and stay in villages and
• Ability to interact easily with rural communities.

5. For Finance Officer:
Bachelor Degree in commerce/accountancy at least second class.
Experience
• Minimum 2 years' experience with Master's Degree and 4 years' experience for Bachelor Degree in financial planning and management.
• Computer skills especially Microsoft Words and Excel.
Desirable
• Self-initiative, commitments and pro-activeness;
• Able to work in multicultural team;
• Ability to interact easily with rural communities

6. For GIS & MIS Analyst:
M. Tech. or M.Sc. or B.Sc. Degree in Remote Sensing/GIS or B. Tech ( Computer Science) with PG diploma in Remote Sensing/GIS securing at least a high second class (55%).
Experience
• Minimum 3years experience for master degree holder and 5 years for Bachelor Degree holder in ArcGIS, ERDAS/ open GIS tools , digital image analysis and GIS techniques using different software and operating systems and computer programming for writing interfaces with GIS tools
Desirable
Good understanding of remote sensing concepts, hardware, and software including:
• Knowledge of ArcGIS, Q-GIS, ERDAS and other open source RS-GIS software
• Experience in creating, organizing and managing GIS and spatial databases
• Experience in image analysis and field survey data handling
• Knowledge of SQL and basic relational database usage
• Proficiency in Python, adobe Illustrator or lnkscape
• Strong experience working with Microsoft office suite, Excel and PowerPoint in particular
• Ability to understand technical requirements of Spatial data processing and able to communicate in simple language
• Fluency in oral and written English with strong communication skills in presenting, discussing and resolving different issues
• Experience of working with govt. agency for GIS based project implementation with experience in land use planning
• Self-initiative, commitments and pro-activeness;
• Able to work in multicultural team;
• Willingness to travel extensively in rural areas and stay in villages

For Multi-Tasking Assistant cum Computer Operator:
• University degree in any disciple or equivalent from a recognized University with diploma in computer application.
• Minimum of 2 to 3 years' experience in Secretarial Assistance/ data entry or related work
• Willing to work long hours (including holidays whenever necessary);
• Excellent written and oral English language skills;
• Experience in handling Office Automation equipment;
• Proficiency in the use of word processing software (inclusive of Microsoft Office Package), any of the Designing Software (such as Corel draw/PageMaker/Photoshop etc) and use of email is a must.

For Driver (LMV):
• Passed in Class 8 (Matriculate or equivalent would be preferred)
• Should possess a valid driving license for Light Motor Vehicle
• Good knowledge of Motor Car Mechanism
• Minimum 5 years experience in driving LMV is necessary;
• Should be able to read and write English numerals and figures
• Willing to travel extensively and work long hours (including holiday)
• Courteous, well behaved and disciplined;
• Should be excellent in Vehicle maintenance and up keep BACK

10. For Peon:
A person who can read and write English with good health
Desirable: class 8 passed
Experience:
Experience in any Govt. /public & Private sector office for one year may be given preference

Consolidated Pay per month:
1. For Capacity Building & Training Officer: Rs 45,000/-
2. For Enterprise Development & Marketing Officer: Rs 45,000/-
3. For Subject Matter Specialist on Community Development & Livelihood: Rs 45,000/-
4. For Monitoring, Evaluation & Documentation Officer: Rs 30,000/-
5. For Finance Officer: Rs 45,000/-
6. For GIS & MIS Analyst: Rs 25,000/-
7. For Accountant: Rs 25,000/-
8. For Multi-Tasking Assistant cum Computer Operator: Rs 15,000/-
9. For Driver (LMV): Rs 15,000/-
10. For Peon: Rs 10,000/-
