IIFPT Walk-in Interview Dec 2018 for SRF and Others Posts

Indian Institute of Food Processing Technology, (IIFPT) has invited application from eligible candidates for the recruitment for RA, SRF, JRF and PA Posts on RA, SRF, JRF and PA Posts. Details of the recruitment are given below:

Age Limit: (as on the date of the Interview)
1. For RA: 40 years for men and 45 years for women
2. For SRF/ JRF/ PA: 35 years for men and 40 years for women



A. Project/ Dept. Name:
Nano patterning with low temperature process for the production of instant foaming soluble coffee (GAP-026)

Name of the post: (No. of the Post)
RA: 1 post

Essential Qualifications:
Ph.D in Food Processing Engineering/ / Food Science & Technology/ Biotechnology/ Nanotechnology/ Chemical Engineering (or) M.Tech in any of the above subjects with 1st division or 60% marks or equivalent overall grade point average with at least two years of research experience as evidenced from fellowship/associateship/training/ other engagements. Published research papers will be desirable.

B. Project/ Dept. Name:
DFSQT/ CMNSPU

Name of the post: (No. of the Post)
SRF: 1 post

Essential Qualifications:
M.Tech/ M.E. in Food Process Engineering/ Food Science & Technology/ Food Technology/ Biotechnology/ Nanotechnology or M.Sc. in the above disciplines or M.Sc. in Food Science & Nutrition with NET or Ph.D in the above disciplines

C. Project/ Dept. Name:
Commercial Sample analysis - DFSQT

Name of the post: (No. of the Post)
SRF: 3 post

Essential Qualifications:
Masters Degree in Chemistry/ Analytical Chemistry, Biochemistry and Food Chemistry with NET passed or Ph.D. Working experience in a Chemical Testing laboratory and experience in handling high-tech Instruments are desirable

D. Project/ Dept. Name:
Design and Development of Solar Photo voltaic Powered Cold Storage System (GAP – 025)

JRF: 1 post

Essential Qualifications:
M.Tech in Food Process Engineering, Food Technology, Food Science, Agricultural Entomology & Biotechnology preferably with work experience in food

E. Project/ Dept. Name:
Technology development & capacity building in NEERA preservation & value addition -MSME project (GAP-037)

Name of the post: (No. of the Post)
PA: 1 post

Essential Qualifications:
B.Sc. in Microbiology / Biotechnology or B.Tech. in Biotechnology

Application Fee:
Rs.500/- (exempted for SC/ST/PWD Candidates)

Consolidated Monthly Remuneration:
1. For Research Associate:
a. Doctoral Degree Holders: Rs.40,000/- Consolidated (in addition 10% HRA on the consolidated amount)
b. Master Degree Holders: Rs.38,000/- Consolidated (in addition 10% HRA on the consolidated amount)
2. For Senior Research Fellow/ Junior Research Fellow:
a. Rs.25,000/- Consolidated (in addition 10% HRA on the consolidated amount)
3. For Project Assistant:
Rs.12,000/- Consolidated (in addition 10% HRA on the consolidated amount)

Tenure of the Project:
Till the completion of the Project Period (Renewal once in six months) initially up-to June-2019 and subsequently based on satisfactory performance

Mode of Selection:
The selection will be based on a short duration written examination followed by an interview.

Candidate need to attend the Interview on the date given below and should accompany along with original certificates, including OBC/ SC/ ST/ PH certificates, grade card / mark sheets/ publications, two numbers of colour passport size photographs and CV, as well as a set of photo copies of all relevant documents along with application form prescribed by IIFPT at the time of walk-in-interview.
