Gauhati University has invited application from eligible candidate for temporary Project Assistant  in ICAR-NBFGR Collaborative Research project under Dr. Banasri Mech, Assistant Professor, Department of Zoology, Gauhati University. Details of the post are given below.

Project Title:
“Cytogenetic study of certain selected endemic fishes of North East lndia”

Name of Posts: (No. of Posts)
Project Assistant: 01 post.

Duration: 1 year

Age limit: 28 years (age relaxation for SC/ST)

Qualification: M.sc in Zoology (having specialization in Entomology/ Animal Physiology and Biochemistry/ Ecology and wildlife Science/Fishery/ Cell Biology and Molecular Biology) with at least 60% mark. Preference will be given to students having experience in cytogenetics.

Emoluments: 12000/- per month.

NOTE: The appointment is terminable with a one month notice from either side without assigning any reason thereof. Since the project is purely temporary, the incumbents selected will have no claim for regular appointment under ICAR-NBFGR or continuation of his/her service in any other project.
