Extension Education Institute (NE Region) is organizing a Internship Programme Offering Monthly Stipend of Rs 25,000

Schedule of the Internship :
6 months (Year round – based on performance & requirement)

About the EEI internship Programme :
EEI internship Programme is being offered with an aim to provide hands-on / experiential learning to integrate knowledge and theory of extension education with practical application and skill development in a professional setting. Internships shall give the students, the opportunity to learn recent advances in extension education, gain valuable insights and learn to apply their experience and facilitate to develop a professional network among the agricultural extension stakeholders in the NE Region.

Objectives :
1. Provisioning in-situ experience relating to application of extension approaches, tools and techniques as well as implementation of agricultural development programmes
2. Imparting hands on experience in Training management and application of training methods and tools.

Who can attend :
– MSc (Agri / Hort. / Community Science or H.Sc / Vety. / Fishery)
– Ph.D student in Agricultural Extension
– PhD Degree holders in Agricultural Extension
– MBA in Agricultural Business Management
No. of internships : 2

Stipend and logistics :
– Monthly stipend: Rs. 25,000/-
– Students who are availing any other fellowship/ stipend will not be given EEI stipend.
– All selected interns will be given stipend
– Actual travel expenses to be borne by EEI for field works
– Interns have to make own arrangements of boarding and lodging
– Interns have to attend office of the institute regularly

How to apply :
Cadidate need to submit application on plain paper or may be mailed attaching copies of documents as per last date specified including
a. A Letter of recommendation from the DPGS / HoD (only for those continuing Ph.D).
b. CV and motivation letter of the student.

Place of the Internship :
EEI, Jorhat, Assam or any other place that is decided
