CSIR- Central Leather Research Institute (CLRI), Chennai has invited application from eligible candidates for the recruitment for Senior Research Fellow (Project), Junior Research Fellow (Project) & Project Assistants Posts. Details of the recruitment are given below:

Age Limit:
1. For Senior Research Fellow (Project): 32 years
2. For Senior Research Fellow (Project): 32 years
3. For Junior Research Fellow (Project): 28 years
4. For Project Assistant Level-III: 35 years
5. For Project Assistant Level-III: 35 years
6. For Project Assistant Level-II: 30 years
7. For Project Assistant Level - II: 30 years
8. For Project Assistant Level-II: 30 years
9. For Project Assistant Level-II: 30 years
10. For Project Assistant Level-II: 28 years
11. For Project Assistant Level-I 11: 35 years

Qualifications:
1. For Senior Research Fellow (Project):
Essential:
M.Sc. (Chemistry/ Inorganic Chemistry/ Organic Chemistry/ Analytical Chemistry / Applied Chemistry) with minimum 55% marks from recognized University/ Institute plus one publication in SCI journal and 02 years of research experience. (OR) M.Tech (Nanoscience & Nanotechnology) with 60% marks from recognized University/ Institute

2. For Senior Research Fellow (Project):
Essential: M.E. Environmental Enqg./ Environmental Management with minimum 60% marks from recognized University/ Institute after Bachelor Degree in Civil Engg./ Mechanical Engg./ Chemical Engg.
Desirable:
Candidates having 02 years of experience in waste management will be given preference

3. For Junior Research Fellow (Project):
Essential: M.E./ M.Tech Environmental Enqg./ Chemical Engg./ Environmental Management/ Thermal Engg./ Energy Engg./ Energy & Environmental Engg. With Bachelor Degree in Civil Engg./ Mechanical Engg./ Chemical Engg. With minimum 55% marks from recognized University/ Institute
Desirable:
Candidates having experience in heat and mass transfer related thermal processes will be given preference

4. For Project Assistant Level-III:
Essential: B.E./ B.Tech (Any specialization) with 55% marks from recognized University/ Institute plus 02 years relevant experience.
Desirable:
Candidates having 1st class and following experience will be given preference:
i. handled survey related activities like preparation of templates and secondary data collection and compilation.
ii. handled and knowledge in Project Management System activities.
iii. knowledge in preparation of DPR and Documentation.

5. For Project Assistant Level-III:
Essential:
B.Tech in Leather Technology with 55% marks from recognized University/ Institute with 02 years of experience
Desirable:
Candidates having experience in coordinating activities of Sector Skill Council and NSDC activities of NSDA will be given preference

6. For Project Assistant Level-II:
Essential:
M.Sc. Biotechnology (OR) B.Tech Leather Technology with minimum 55% marks from recognized University/ Institute

7. For Project Assistant Level- II:
Essential:
Any Undergraduate Degree in Science/ Economics/ Statistics/ Computer Science/ Computer Applications with minimum

55% marks from recognized University/ Institute
Desirable:
Typing skills and knowledge of database software, spreadsheets and word processing is desirable

8. For Project Assistant Level-II:
Essential:
B.E. Computer Science/ Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE)/ Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) with 55% marks from recognized University/ Institute
Desirable:
Candidates having experience in handling online Project Management System (OR) Preparation of Project Reports/ Proposals (OR) Documentation maintenance and handling (OR) Administrative work (OR) Back office support will be given preference.

9. For Project Assistant Level-II:
Essential: M.Sc. Chemistry (any specialization) with 55% marks from recognized University/ Institute

10. For Project Assistant Level-II:
Essential:
M.Sc. (Chemistry/ Inorganic/ Organic/ Physical/ Analytical/ Applied Chemistry) with minimum 55% marks from recognized University/ Institute
Desirable:
Candidates having Research experience in reputed Institute/ industry and first class will be given preference.

11. For Project Assistant Level-I 11:
Essential:
M.Tech in Leather Technology with minimum 55% marks from recognized University/ Institute

Tenure/ Stipend:
1. For Senior Research Fellow (Project): 3 years, Rs.28,000/-plus HRA admissible as per rules per month
2. For Senior Research Fellow (Project): 12 months (extendable), Rs.28,000/- plus HFRA admissible as per rules per month
3. For Junior Research Fellow (Project): 01 year (extendable), Rs.25,000/- plus HRA admissible as per rules per month
4. For Project Assistant Level-III: 06 months, Rs.28,000/- per month (Consolidated)
5. For Project Assistant Level-III: 01 year Rs.28,000/- per month (Consolidated)
6. For Project Assistant Level-II: 06 months, Rs.14,000/- per month (Consolidated)
7. For Project Assistant Level- II: 02 months, Rs.14,000/- per month (Consolidated)
8. For Project Assistant Level-II: 01 year Rs.25,000/- per month (Consolidated)
9. For Project Assistant Level-II: 06 months, Rs.25,000/-per month (Consolidated)
10. For Project Assistant Level-II: 02 years, Rs.25,000/-plus HRA admissible as per rules per month
11. For Project Assistant Level-I 11: 02 months, Rs. 16,000/- per month (Consolidated)
