Central Agriculture University CAU Walk-in-Interview for Various Posts

The College of Home Science, Central Agricultural University Sangsanggre, Tura, Meghalaya has invited application from eligible candidates for the recruitment of the following posts for a period of three years for the Department of Science and Technology(DST), Govt. of India Sponsored Research project. Details of the recruitment are as follows:

Name of Project:
Ergonomic Intervention to promote Occupational health and safety of women workers involved i cashew nut processing industry of North East Region.

1. Junior Research Fellow (JRF): 01 Post
2. Research Assistant: 01 Post
3. Labour: 01 Post

Educational Qualification:
1. For Junior Research Fellow (JRF):
Master degree in Home Science (Family Resource Management)
Desirable: Research Experience in the field of Ergonomics.

2. For Research Assistant:
Class 10+2 pass
Desirable: Working experience in research/ extension activities. Knowledge of Assamese, Bengali and Garo language.

3. For Labour:
Class 10 pass.
Desirable: Working experience in research/ extension activities knowledge of Assamese, Bengali and Garo language.

Salary (Consolidated)
1. Junior Research Fellow (JRF):
Rs. 25,000/- + 10% HRA pm for 1st & 2nd year and @ Rs. 28,000/- + 10% HRA pm for 3rd year

2. Research Assistant:
Rs 10,000/- pm for three years

3. Labour:
Rs 5000/- pm for three years
