CAU Imphal National Seminar On Conservation and Commercialization of Citrus Biodiversity in NEH Region

Directorate of Research, Central Agricultural University (CAU), Imphal in collaboration with ICAR-Central Citrus Research Institute, Nagpur, Maharashtra is organising a National Seminar on “Conservation and Commercialization of Citrus Biodiversity in NEH Region”.

The proposed seminar will provide a platform for the scientists, researchers, policy maker, entrepreneurs and other stakeholders like state government officials and farmers for cross learning with an approach towards citrus biodiversity
conservation and its commercialization. So that it enable the farmers to reap more economic gain/profit from the citrus farming.

The Seminar is open to all the stakeholders interested in R&D in citrus production such as Farmers, Students, Researchers, Scientists, Academicians, KVK Personnel,
Extension Functionaries, NGOs, Agripreneurs, Agroindustries, Corporate Sector, Financial Institutes and Line Departments etc.

Abstracts of unpublished research work are invited for oral and posters presentations. Abstracts should be typed in MS Word (A4 size) within 300 words excluding title, affiliation etc. Times New Roman font (size 12 point) with double space should be used while typing the abstract. Full name of all contributing authors as well as affiliation, contact details should be mentioned. Presenters name should be underlined.

The schedule and fee for registration fees for various categories of participants are as below.
Category (Up to 15.01.2021):
Scientist/ Teachers/ SMS : Rs. 2000
Student/ Research Scholar : Rs. 1000
Corporate/ Private Sector : Rs. 5000
Accompanying Person : Rs. 1500

The organizer will be glad to arrange the accommodation on request at various Govt. Guest Houses and Hotels in Imphal city. Room tariff ranging from Rs. 2000 to 5000 per
night for single/double occupancy are available. Advance accommodation will be booked only for those who has submitted registration fee in advance. Advance payment for hotel charges is solicited to avoid last minute rush.
