Andhra University, has invited application from eligible candidates for the recruitment for JRF and Field/ Lab Assistants Posts. Details of the recruitment are given below:

“Coastal Processes & Shoreline Management along Indian Coast”

Name of the post: (No. of the Post)
1. JRF: 4 posts
2. Field/ Lab Assistants: 2 posts

Qualifications & Experience:
1. For JRF:
a. Post- 1
M.Tech. (Remote Sensing), M.Tech. Geo- Engineering/ M.Sc. Geology/ M.Sc. Spatial Information Technology.
Remote sensing data interpretation and GIS analysis will be preferred.
b. Post-2
M.Sc. Physical Oceanography/ M.Tech. Ocean Sciences and field experience and exposure to sea
c. Post- 3
M.Sc. Geophysics/ M.Sc. Marine Geophysics/ Geography
d. Post- 4
M.Sc. (Geology/ Applied Geology)

  1. For Field/ Lab Assistants:
    B.Sc. in M.P.C./ M.P.G. from a recognized university. Experience in coastal and marine field works will have an added advantage. The qualification may be relaxed in case candidates with above qualifications are found non-suitable wherein candidates with Intermediate qualification may be considered.

1. For JRF: 25000+HRA20%
2. For Field/ Lab Assistants: 15000/-
