The Department of Atomic Energy, Bhabha Atomic Research Centre, BARC Nuclear Recycle Board- Kalpakkam has invited application from eligible candidates for the recruitment of the following Stipendiary Trainees Category II. Details of the recruitment are as follows:

3. Fitter: 24 Posts (SC:03, OBC:08, UR:13, PWD:00)
4. Welder: 01 Post (SC:00, OBC:00, UR:04, PWD:00)
5. Turner: 02 Posts (SC:00, OBC:00, UR:02, PWD:00)
6. Electrician: 12 Posts (SC:03, OBC:02, UR:07, PWD:00)
7. Instrument Mechanic: 05 Posts (SC:01, OBC:01, UR:03, PWD:00)
8. Electronic Mechanic: 02 Posts (SC:00, OBC:01, UR:01, PWD:00)
9. Machinist: 02 Posts (SC:00, OBC:00, UR:02, PWD:00)
B. Technician/ C (Boiler Operator): 03 Posts (SC:00, OBC:00, UR:03, PWD:00)
C. Upper Division Clerk: 10 Posts (SC:03, OBC:03, UR:03, PWD:01)

Age Limit: (as on 31st Jan 2017)
1. For the Post 1 to 9:
Minimum 18 Years and Maximum 22 Years. Age relaxation applicable as per Government rules.
2. For Technician: Minimum 18 years and Maximum 25 Years.
3. For Upper Division Clerk: Minimum 18 years and Maximum 27 Years.

Educational Qualification:
1. Plant Operator/ Health Physics Assistant (HP):
HSC in Science stream (with Physics, Chemistry and Maths subjects) with a minimum 60% marks in aggregate.

2. Laboratory Assistant:
HSC in Science stream (with Physics, Chemistry and Maths subjects) with a minimum 60% marks in aggregate.
OR
SSC (with Science and Maths) with a minimum 60 % marks in aggregate PLUS trade certificate in Laboratory Assistant. The candidates should meet any of the following requirements as regards Trade Certificate:
1) NTC (ITI pass out) of two years duration. OR
2) NAC of two years duration under Apprenticeship Training
Scheme. OR
3) NTC (ITI pass out) of one year duration plus one year work experience after the completion of course. OR
4) NTC (ITI pass out) of one-year duration plus NAC of minimum one year duration under Apprenticeship Training Scheme.

For the Post 3 to 9:
SSC (with Science and Maths) with a minimum 60 % marks in aggregate PLUS trade certificate in Fitter / Welder / Turner/ Electrician/ Instrument Mechanic/ Electronic Mechanic/Machinist.
The candidates should meet any of the following requirements
as regards Trade Certificate:
1) NTC (ITI pass out) of two years duration. OR
2) NAC of two years duration under Apprenticeship Training Scheme OR
3) NTC (ITI pass out) of one year duration plus one year work
experience after the completion of course. OR
4) NTC (ITI pass out) of one-year duration plus NAC of minimum one year duration under Apprenticeship Training Scheme.

Technician/ C (Boiler Operator): SSC + I Class Boiler Attendant’s Certificate issued by the Competent Authority.

Upper Division Clerk:
A degree (Graduate) in Arts, Science or Commerce of a recognized university or equivalent with an aggregate of 50% marks.
Desirable Qualifications:
a) Minimum speed of 30 w.p.m in typewriting in English.
b) Knowledge of Computer Application, Data Entry & Data Processing

Physical Standard:
Minimum Height : 160 cms. Minimum weight : 45.5 Kg
(Relaxable if the candidate is otherwise medically fit)

Mode of Selection:
1. For Post No 1 to 9 & Technician:
The selection process will consist of test in 3 stages. (Stage 1 & 2 – Written Test and Stage 3 - Trade /Skill Test). There will be negative marking in the written Examination for incorrect answers.

Stage 1- Preliminary Test : Questions will be on Mathematics, Science and General Awareness.
Stage 2- Advanced test : Candidates clearing Preliminary Test will be eligible for appearing in Advanced Test (Questions will be from the
respective trade).
Stage 3- Trade /Skill Test: Only for those candidates who have cleared the Stage-2 test and will be on go/no-go basis.

For DR/02 selection will be made on the basis of qualifying in the following written examination.
Written Test : Level – I (Objective type test covering GK, Arithmetic, language skills etc )
Level – II (Descriptive Written test to test English and comprehension.)
Candidates qualifying the Level I will be eligible for appearing in Level II Examination.

Total duration of training period : Two years

Stipend during training :
Rs. 6200/- per month for the 1st year and ` 7200/- for the 2nd year.

Application Fee: Rs.100/- by challan to be deposited in any branch of State Bank of India.
